Although we all choose to homeschool for various reasons, at the heart of it we all cherish the freedom. Freedom to choose how to enrich our kids lives, how to educate them, and the community we want our kids to grow in.
As a self-directed center, we trust our youth on their learning journey. Facilitators and families are here to connect and support kids' curiosities and interests. Every day they choose the activities they want to participate in, and they can spend as much time as they want doing it. This is how you learn to be the author of your life from an early age.
We are well when we are deeply connected with who we are, with our family, and our environment, community we live in and Nature. We learn how to be mindful and increase our awareness, while following natural cycles and celebration of seasonal transitions.
As the world becomes more and more divided, we strongly stand for connection and unity. Our families and larger community actively participate in each other's lives, beyond simple "drop-off" mentality. Diversity of people, cultures and passions add unique sense of belonging to the Village.
We are an enrichment program for homeschoolers that centers kids' interests. We use Agile Learning tools to frame our day and to build our culture. We have offerings and classes based on the youth's current curiosities.
We are located in Oakland, CA near Mormon temple at a private location with access to Redwood Regional Park.
You can choose from 2 to 5 days of participation, from 10 AM till 4 PM. Our rates are very affordable and as we grow we hope to provide more scholarships.
We are open for the youth ages 5 y.o. through 18 y.o. Families, who choose homeschooling, either through PSA or Charter schools. If you are new to homeschooling in CA, we are happy to support your transition.
Join us every Thursday from 10 AM – 4 PM for a dynamic and supportive space designed just for teens! At Teen Club, young people connect with peers, build friendships, and develop functional life skills through group projects, hands-on activities, and guided learning. Teens will also have opportunities to:
Receive one-on-one support from an experienced facilitator
Explore the Bay Area through field trips
Gain volunteer hours and even discover apprenticeship opportunities
Learn how to learn in ways that spark curiosity and confidence
Our facilitator brings over 10 years of educational experience, with a strong background in agricultural science and a wide range of life experiences that enrich the program.
💲 Tuition: $185/month (additional fees for field trips and select materials may apply).
